Nick

Hi, I’m Nick, and this is my partner, Alisa. We’ve been clients of True for about 12 months, and our adviser is Lottie.

Alisa

We were slightly disillusioned with our previous financial adviser because we felt we weren’t getting the transparency that we needed and weren’t able to have that one-to-one conversation. From the first phone call, Lottie provided us with the opportunity to ask her questions, however silly they might seem, and she advised us well.

Nick

Lottie was recommended by our accountant, who had worked with her, and having chatted with him, he turned around and said, “I think Lottie and True are going to be suitable for you.”

Alisa

I had an initial call with Lottie following the recommendation, and immediately we got on. She understood what I was discussing with her or asking her. She was very professional but very approachable and able to be enthusiastic about what I was asking her. So, we arranged to both go and see her face to face.

Nick

I have a latent disinterest in figures and investments and things; they bore me, but she’s actually turned my head on them. We now actively talk to her and she lets us know what’s happening. So we’re always getting an update on where we’re going and what she’s invested in. I’m now becoming quite interested, and she’s restored my faith in financial advisers.

Alisa

Our investments are in the best place; they are productive, I feel comfortable with it all and I’m excited. I’m pleased with how it’s all going.

Nick

The best thing about working with Lottie is that she has shown us results very quickly. Again, going back to our previous advisers, nothing was happening but Lottie has basically put her money where her mouth is, and she has shown us some really good results.

Alisa

The three phrases that I would use to describe Lottie are: She is totally approachable, she is completely understanding of our needs and how we are, and she is totally professional.

The communication is absolutely spot on. If we need Lottie, we just pick up the phone, and if she can’t speak to us she calls us straight back. She’s always contactable, returns our calls, and reassures us at every stage.

Nick

The best piece of advice that Lottie has given us is to spend money, or some of our money. She’s proven why, rather than just saying, “You need to spend, spend, spend.” She’s shown us that we can do that, which made a big difference to me because it goes against the grain, spending money.
